The 5th annual Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest is now open! This retail competition is a chance for one savvy entrepreneur to win a $50k grant to open their brick and motor storefront in Detroit, Highland Park or Hamtramck.
Hatch Detroit is looking for businesses that are viable and sustainable and that will fill a retail gap in the city. Winners of the previous four contests are now open and thriving: Sister Pie, Batch Brewing, La Feria and Huge. The deadline for submissions is July 24 and the winner will be announced on August 28.
