SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative begins in April

Have you been in business for at least three years, have revenues of at least $400,000 and at least one employee other than yourself?  If you answered yes to all three questions, you may qualify for the SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative.

This intensive series focuses on executives of businesses poised for growth in historically challenged communities and provides them with the network, resources and motivation to build a sustainable business of size and scale.  It was developed by the SBA with input from advisory and business leaders across the country.  There is no cost for participants.

The classes will begin in mid-April, run through October, and include 40 hours of class training, seven CEO mentoring meetings and course work assignments.  At the end of the program, participants will have a three-year strategic plan specifically tailored to their business.
